The Inspiring Women In Our Community: 14 Women Of God We Are Celebrating For International Women’s Day

The first International Women’s Day was celebrated in 1911 by four countries, but the occasion which we now celebrate was declared in 1975 by the United Nations with March 8th being designated as International Women’s Day.

This makes this the Fiftieth March 8th being celebrated as IWD! Every woman deserves to be celebrated, to be recognized for who she is, and her commitment to taking up space while striving to be the best version of herself. Living is multifaceted and each of these women have dedicated themselves to helping others profess their faith in their various niches.

Samantha Ivancsik

Samantha @samantha_ivancsik is a fitness and lifestyle enthusiast who is intentional about showcasing her faith in her work as a digital creator.  She is passionate about helping young adults and teenagers find their footing, and devise ways to stay true to their beliefs and values as Christians. She completed her Master’s Program in Public Health from the University of Debrecen in 2021 and has since been an asset to the Stand With A Girl Initiative. This Initiative aims to educate adolescent and youths on sexual and reproductive health, gender equality, and life skills. A most worthy cause, don’t you think?

Oluwaseunnla covers many topics examined from the standpoint of a Christian and the position of Scripture. Natalie @itsnataliesniche is a life coach! Natalie’s passion and purpose is to inspire others with her faith, as well as encourage others through her content and knowledge. Her content emphasizes the importance of prayer and as such, gives pointers to help others strengthen their prayer lives.

Her effortless execution of modest fashion is an inspiration to many, and an acknowledgement that being a Christian in no way means you have to lose out on being stylish.

Having worked with brands like Armani, Albion, Kurt Geiger, Rebecca Minkoff, you definitely know she knows her onions, ginger, and everything else too! Every look is a serve and we think that deserved to be celebrated.

Sharon Nwosu
